About Us
The Batesville Tigers organization was founded in 2003 by Coach Fred Hentz and Coach Tavares Lee. Originally established as the Batesville Panthers, the organization focused on building strong fundamentals, discipline, and teamwork in young athletes.
In 2013, the organization proudly became the Batesville Tigers, expanding to include a cheerleading program. The cheer squad was led by Coach Amber Brown, Coach Tiffany Hamilton, and Coach Miranda Woodall, with Coach Kayla Jordan joining the coaching staff in later years.
What began with just 20 cheerleaders ages 4–12 has grown into a thriving program of 106 cheerleaders today. Our mission is to teach the fundamentals of cheerleading, proper techniques, and skill perfection while building confidence, character, and self-belief in every athlete.
The Batesville Tigers are more than a team—we are a family committed to growth, excellence, and empowering youth both on and off the field.

Meet Our Team
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Our cheer program is organized into age-based groups to ensure proper development, safety, and skill progression for every athlete.
Group 1 (Ages 4–6)
This group focuses on introducing young cheerleaders to the basics of cheer. Athletes learn foundational movements, coordination, teamwork, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
Group 2 (Ages 7–9)
Cheerleaders in this group continue building on the fundamentals while learning more advanced techniques. Emphasis is placed on strength, precision, and teamwork as skills begin to develop.
Group 3 (Ages 10–12)
Our oldest group works on perfecting cheer techniques and advancing their skills. This group focuses on leadership, performance quality, confidence, and preparing athletes for higher-level cheer experiences.
